Francesca Bucci Vernizzi is a designer in New York City with a Master's degree in Architecture. International work and study combined with personal design experimentation have informed and deepened her fascination with the notion of place. She believes that architectural systems combined with educated design ideas have the power to create sensibilities unique to a site or situation. She is interested in multinational collaboration and the exchange of ideas and design, and in the investigation of the varying potentials of technology. Her research examines experimentation on a variety of scales using a range of tools and design strategies to achieve a greater understanding of site, context and place.
